The Rigby Foundation's commitment to providing educational support and talent development to children from impoverished backgrounds is not only admirable but also essential for fostering a more equitable society. In many communities, bright and talented children often face insurmountable barriers to accessing quality education simply because of their economic circumstances. By stepping in to bridge this gap and additionally donating sports resources to enhance talent development the Rigby Foundation is not only offering these children a chance at a brighter future but is also unlocking their potential to become future leaders, innovators, and change-makers.

Education is the cornerstone of personal development and social progress. However, for far too many children, especially those from marginalized communities, it remains a distant dream. The Rigby Foundation's dedication to ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to pursue their education sends a powerful message of inclusivity and empowerment. By prioritizing access to education for all, regardless of gender or ethnicity, we are not only breaking down systemic barriers but also fostering a culture of equality and opportunity.
In January 1997, the president of the Republic of Uganda, His Excellency Y.K. Museveni and the NRM government launched UPE (Universal Primary Education) intending to provide free primary education to all children in the country.
Today, the country experiences a high rate of school dropouts in Kabarole district and Fort Portal city which has left leaders worried, calling for swift interventions.
Every child deserves an education. Rigby Foundation has taken the initiative to ensure access to quality education for all children in underserved or impoverished communities by:
Providing exercise books, digital learning tools, pens, pencils, and other essential materials to schools and children in need.
Supporting schools in remote areas like Kitarasa Primary School with infrastructure and resources.
Equipping teachers with guidance and counseling skills, and conducting CPD programs for improved teaching techniques.
Sensitizing parents about health, sanitation, and providing study kits for health management.
Providing scholarships and educational resources to underprivileged children.
Donating sports resources to enhance talent development alongside academic education.
Providing study kits to guide learners on health concerns, hygiene, conservation, and disease prevention.
